Hi there! I’m Gabby.

I’m a former elementary teacher and instructional coach with 14 years of experience teaching Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade. Today, I’m also a mom who understands how powerful the early years of learning can be.

When I stepped away from the classroom to raise my young family, I quickly realized my passion for education hadn’t gone anywhere. That’s when I created Simply Growing Minds.

Simply Growing Minds is a space dedicated to helping young children build strong foundations in math through play, stories, and meaningful conversation. Instead of worksheets and pressure, I believe children learn best when math is connected to real life—counting snacks, sharing with friends, and noticing numbers in everyday moments.

Here you’ll find simple, playful ways to help children ages 2–6 develop number sense, confidence, and curiosity about math. Drawing on my classroom experience, I share activities, stories, and ideas that make math feel natural and joyful for both children and the adults guiding them.

My hope is to support parents and educators as they nurture little learners who think about numbers, ask questions, and grow in confidence.
